COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION

Your first visit to our practice will consist of a comprehensive oral evaluation. You will be with us for approximately one hour.

PROCEDURE

WHAT THE COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION WILL DO FOR YOU?

This visit is a complete and thorough examination of your head, neck, teeth, gums, bone levels and jaw joint. It will include necessary x-rays and periodontal assessment which will demonstrate any changes in your health and give us a more complete picture of your needs. We will review your medical history and we will perform an oral cancer screening.

The results of your examination will determine what type of cleaning you need and will allow our team to care for you with the best possible treatment. You will have enough information at the end of this visit to make an informed decision regarding your own oral health and how it affects your overall health.
If you are interested in Porcelain Veneers, Dental Implants, Teeth-In-A-Day and other Cosmetic or Comprehensive Restorative Services, the Comprehensive Evaluation is expanded 30 more minutes to include photographs and a registration of your current resting bite. This evaluation gives necessary information prior to starting treatment.
